Prepper and Long Term Storage
THE EXPEDITION 134: AUSTRALIA’S BEST LONG-TERM STORAGE SOLUTION
Not only is the Expedition134 strong, it’s also easily stackable, with the base of each box locking securely onto another box’s lid. This convenient, space-saving design is crucial for minimizing storage and helping you better prepare for emergencies or disasters. These lightweight but tough storage boxes can be locked, stacked and left for years, providing secure long-term storage and emergency storage when planning for the worst.
In fact, the Expedition134 has been used by many disaster preppers who value the storage box’s lightweight design. Although it weighs just 3.95 kilograms, it can store up to 55 litres of gear. The lid is also rated to handle up to 120-kilogram loads, so you’ll have no issues stacking heavy boxes for long-term storage.
The Expedition134 long-term storage box comes in four different colors, allowing you to colour-code and easily identify which box you require at a glance. The safety orange colour, for instance, is perfect for use as an emergency storage box. The interchangeable lids also allow you more colour-coding options.
All of these features combine to create a reliable long-term storage solution that offers excellent value for money and security. The Expedition134 is the perfect investment for anyone seeking disaster prepper storage, long-term storage or emergency storage in their home or business.

Expedition134 was established in 2015 by Ben Kincade and Nic McKenzie, from a breakdown in the Simpson Desert. From this, an idea spawned, and we developed the Expedition134 storage boxes and quick release straps with more ideas in the pipeline. 2021 commences a new chapter for Expedition134 with Nic and his wife Kari continuing on the business.
As proud Aussies we make our gear right here in Australia and go out of our way to support other small Aussie businesses as well. Our Expedition134 storage boxes are made on the Sunshine Coast, and our unique, quick-release straps are custom made in the small rural Queensland town of Mareeba. Accompanying our own products are what we consider to be other quality made gear that we have used and proven ourselves. As we find more items that we love, this range may expand even further in the future.

Just took delivery of this product. Looks fantastic!
So good to be able to buy Aussie designed and made.
Well done guys - thank you
Had these delivered for a trip up to Dirk Harthog. Loved them. Ditched our old boxes that we had left and bought another expedition box due to the accessibility, tie down points and it doubling as a step ladder for the shorties accessing the roof rack.
Love it , it's tough , sturdy . Holds all my kitchen camp ware (butane stove, pans , cutlery, cups , essentials . I like it so much, I’m gonna get another. It’ll be easy as to tie down , stoked & Aussie made. Thanks so much!
It fits... Stanley socket set and screwdriver set, spanner roll (large), hammer (med) , 2x vice grips, Allen keys set, 2x bum wipe, a restraint bag (6x 500kg ratchets&straps), kings recovery kit, kingcrome 80amp jumper leads, a 200mm x 250mm x 150mm box with wheel nuts/studs, cable ties ect, a roll of paper towel, a large total tool breaker bar (diagonal) and wheel sockets. Plus little wires and stuff i find. Can recommend.
Excellent product, absolutely fit for purpose.
Super impressed with the quality of the boxes. Really like the way the tops and bottoms interlock for stacking. Looking forward to not having to clean the red dirt and dust out of everything the next time we go off road. Customer support has been outstanding as well. We’ll be buying more!!!
I recently purchased 2 of 55l expedition 134 boxes and well needless to say they are quite possibly the best crates/boxes on the market today. The seals on them are ridiculously strong. I tested them in a creek with all my clothes in one and submerged the box fully underwater, floated downstream and even tried to stand on it underwater only to open the lid back on land and everything was still bone dry. Not a drop made it in. Other amazing points are the fact it is 100% ozzie made and owned which makes me happy that i can support an australian business, they have a great range of colours to colour code all my stuff and the fact you can strap them down and still open the lid. These lads have really thought of everything and i now cant justify buying any other product alike due to how well these are made.
Oh and the customer service was on point as well. A higher star rating would be put if it went higher than 5.
Storage boxes are as described and very strong. Able to be sealed from water and dust. Very happy with this purchase.
They are that good we just keep buying them, now have 7. Makes camping and traveling a lot easier. Used for all purposes including water storage.
I was set up with these cracking expedition boxes. I have the set of colors and also the mixed lids so I can differentiate what’s in them. Could not recommend these enough. Tough as nails, easy to clean and being able to stack them, they take up heaps less room on the Ute. All my mates want these boxes. Bloody choice!
I bought 2 of your boxes recently, to use in our camper trailer.
For 11 years we have used (multiple ) plastic tubs bought from Big W or Bunnings. Multiple tubs because, of course, they don't last. Normal camping use has seen them crack, dust get in, even some mice in our food box once.
So I recently bought 2 of your boxes and we packed them, using 1 as a food box and the other as a kitchen/cooking gear box.
We have been on a 2 week trip to the Warrumbungle and Pilliga National Parks in Western New South Wales.
Not the roughest roads this trip, but all our camps were very dusty and the odd rodent or odd million flies.
In our boxes each time I found, food or kitchen stuff. That's it. No dust, insects or mice. How good is that! Plenty of dust on the outside of them.
The boxes also changed the way I packed the trailer. Much better! They fit in great.
We used them as seats at times, and as a footstool.
Great boxes. Very happy with them.
"The night before we tackled the border track I gotta say I'm absolutely loving these @expedition134 storage boxes. We were in a national park so we needed to bring our own firewood. I didn't want to drive 2 hours with wood strapped to the roof & I wanted to keep the weight as low as possible as my hilux is already too top heavy. So I loaded enough wood for 2 nights in these boxes and stacked them on my back seat without any mess in my car. They are incredibly durable so I had faith that even though they were fully loaded with wood they weren't going to break on my during the track. Highly recommend them"
I have a set of these boxes and from what I can say is WOW! Absolutely brilliant!! The external tie down points are a great idea, everything can be tied down on the ute and still easily access the contents in the tubs with out having to untie every strap!
I use mine for cooking gear as the cast iron hot plate and cooker can bounce around in the box and I know that the box isn’t going to break on me like my previous cheap and nasty tubs! Highly recommend!
Great product. Best boxes I've had with great seals. Quick delivery. Totally recommend.
Up front, they seemed a little expensive when I looked at them on the website but I really liked the fact that they are Australian made so I went ahead and made the order and I am really happy I did. These are an excellent storage solution and premium quality. We’ve tried them out and they are definitely dust proof and securely stack on each other. We even use one as a step up to the bed in the camper trailer now so we don’t need the milk crate.
